Jenny Wong Beauty Group (jennywongbeautygroup.com) is an editorially independent research publication covering dental tourism and hair transplant tourism worldwide. Our premise is simple: you deserve objective, data-backed information before making a decision that involves your body and your savings.

The medical tourism industry is worth tens of billions of dollars. Yet patients are routinely left to navigate booking platforms, paid clinic listings, and influencer recommendations that all carry undisclosed financial conflicts of interest. Jenny Wong Beauty Group was founded to fix that.

We do not book procedures. We do not represent clinics. We do not earn commissions based on where patients choose to go. We research costs, outcomes, and destinations with the same rigour a good financial journalist brings to market data.

Our Editorial Mission

Our mission is to help people make confident, well-informed decisions about dental work and hair transplants abroad, free from the distortions created by pay-to-rank directories and affiliate booking flows.

We cover two verticals in depth:

  • Dental tourism: implants, veneers, All-on-4, whitening, full mouth reconstruction. Major destinations: Turkey, Mexico, Hungary, Thailand, Vietnam, India.
  • Hair transplant tourism: FUE, DHI, Sapphire FUE, women’s hair loss, repair surgery. Major destinations: Turkey, India, Thailand, Hungary.

We do not cover general beauty, skincare, or cosmetics. Those are different markets with different dynamics. Our focus is narrow so our research can be deep.

Our Three Core Commitments

1. Original Pricing Research

We do not aggregate costs from competitors or clinic websites. Our pricing data comes from direct clinic inquiries, published fee schedules, and primary source verification. Every price table on this site includes a last-verified date and a methodology note so you can judge the data yourself.

2. No Affiliate Commission Model

Most medical tourism sites earn money when you book. That creates pressure (conscious or not) to rank clinics that pay commissions over clinics that don’t. We have no booking functionality and no referral relationships. Our revenue model does not depend on where you go.

3. Honest Outcome Reporting

We do not only publish success stories. When there are known complication patterns (mega-sessions depleting donor reserves, over-preparation for veneers, bone graft failures) we report them in detail. Informed patients make better decisions, and better decisions produce better outcomes.

When we publish cost data, we disclose:

  • Date of last verification: prices are time-stamped at the data point level
  • Source type: direct clinic inquiry, published fee schedule, or verified quote
  • Currency and conversion methodology: USD base, conversion rates stated
  • Sample size: how many clinics we surveyed per country

When we evaluate clinics, we assess accreditation (JCI, TEMOS, ISHRS, ABHRS, ISO 9001), surgeon qualifications, technology infrastructure (CBCT scanners, CAD/CAM, digital planning), and long-term patient outcome data.

We never accept payment for clinic inclusion, ranking position, or editorial coverage.

Jenny Wong has spent over a decade researching international healthcare costs and patient outcomes across Asia, Europe, and Latin America. She founded this publication after observing how consistently misleading the existing dental and hair transplant information landscape was, dominated by affiliate directories that presented paid rankings as independent editorial.

Her work focuses on primary data collection: obtaining direct quotes from clinics, triangulating costs across sources, and building the comparative pricing infrastructure that patients actually need before making a decision.

Mimosa, Senior Research Editor

Mimosa is a CIDESCO-certified aesthetician with a postgraduate background in Health Communication. She leads our clinical accuracy review process and manages our network of destination correspondents across Turkey, Southeast Asia, and Central Europe.
