Editorial Policy

This page describes how Jenny Wong Beauty Group makes editorial decisions, maintains financial independence, and handles errors and corrections.

1. Independence Statement

Jenny Wong Beauty Group is an independent editorial publication. We are not a medical tourism agency, clinic booking platform, or patient referral service.

We have no financial relationship with any clinic, hospital, or healthcare provider featured on this website.

Our editorial decisions (what to cover, which clinics to mention, how to present pricing data, what risks to disclose) are made solely on the basis of what is most useful and accurate for readers. They are not influenced by commercial relationships.

2. No Affiliate Commissions

We do not earn commissions, referral fees, or finder’s fees based on:

  • A reader booking a procedure at a clinic we mention
  • A reader contacting a clinic through our website
  • A reader travelling to a specific country for treatment

The absence of this financial structure is not a small point. Almost every other medical tourism resource online earns money from clinic referrals. That creates systematic pressure (conscious or not) to promote clinics that pay over clinics that don’t, and to present destinations generously rather than honestly.

We have no such pressure. Our coverage of Turkey, Mexico, Hungary, or any other destination is not influenced by whether clinics in those countries pay booking platforms that syndicate our content.

3. No Pay-to-Rank

Clinics cannot pay to be included in our comparisons, guides, or destination reviews. Clinics cannot pay to be excluded either.

Inclusion in our content is based on:

  • Accreditation status: JCI, TEMOS, ISHRS, ABHRS, national licensing
  • Pricing transparency: willingness to publish or provide itemised quotes
  • Market significance: clinics with meaningful patient volume or reputation

Clinics that are frequently mentioned in independent patient communities, medical tourism forums, and published outcome studies will appear in our research. Clinics that are primarily known from their own marketing will not.

4. Advertising

Jenny Wong Beauty Group carries programmatic display advertising. Advertising is:

  • Clearly labeled and visually distinct from editorial content
  • Managed by third-party ad networks
  • Not targeted based on editorial content (we do not sell dental clinic ads against dental content)

Advertising has no influence over editorial decisions. An advertiser’s campaign does not affect how we cover their industry, destination, or type of procedure.

We do not publish sponsored posts, native advertising, or branded content that is presented as editorial.

5. Author Disclosure

All articles are bylined. Authors disclose:

  • Any relevant professional affiliations or credentials
  • Any personal experience with dental or hair transplant procedures abroad that is relevant to the article

Authors do not hold equity, employment contracts, or consulting arrangements with any clinic or medical tourism company.

6. Corrections Policy

We are committed to factual accuracy. When we get something wrong, we fix it.

Submitting a Correction

If you believe a fact, price figure, accreditation status, or clinical claim on this site is incorrect, email [email protected] with:

  • The article URL
  • The specific claim you believe is incorrect
  • The correct information and, if possible, a source

We investigate all submissions within 5 business days.

How We Handle Corrections

  • Minor corrections (typos, outdated prices, changed clinic details): corrected in place, lastmod date updated
  • Factual corrections (incorrect clinical claims, wrong accreditation status, misleading framing): corrected in place with a visible correction note at the bottom of the article
  • Significant errors (errors that may have caused readers to make materially wrong decisions): corrected prominently, with a clear explanation of what was wrong and what the correct information is

We do not quietly delete articles or remove corrections. The correction record stays on the page.

7. Editorial Independence from Ownership

This editorial policy applies regardless of any future changes to ownership, investor structure, or commercial partnerships. Any commercial arrangement that would require changes to this policy will be disclosed publicly before taking effect.
